Lutheran World Federation-Department of Church Cooperation (LWF- DCC) subject files (1964-1986) were created by the Executive Director of the National Lutheran Council (NLC), and the General Secretaries of the U.S.A. National Committee of the Lutheran World Federation (USANC) and Lutheran World Ministries. Files contain correspondence, reports, consultation minutes, studies, itineraries, and publications regarding mission and church relief efforts; LWF Youth Desk activities; and arrangements for and participation in consultations and meetings. Consultation topics include: the healing mission of the church. Evangelism, minority churches in Western Europe, mission efforts in Africa and China, and migration issues. Correspondents include officials from the LWF-DCC and its predessesor department LWF-Department of World Mission; officials from the USANC Office of Church Cooperation and its predecessor Office of World Mission and Service; consultation participants; other LWF, USANC, LWM staff; and consultation participants.
